Craving something rich, creamy, and totally satisfying? Shrimp Alfredo is the perfect comfort food, and the best part is you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen to get it! This easy recipe uses simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand (or can grab in no time). Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of frozen shrimp (peeled and deveined, of course)

  • 1 bag of mozzarella cheese (shredded)

  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream (the secret to that silky, creamy sauce)

  • 1 box of fettuccine noodles

  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning (trust me, it adds the perfect kick)

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once it’s boiling, add your fettuccine noodles and cook according to the package instructions (usually about 10-12 minutes for that perfect al dente texture). Drain and set aside, but keep a little pasta water just in case you need it later!

  2. Sauté the Shrimp: While the pasta’s cooking, heat a large pan over medium heat. Toss in your frozen shrimp (no need to thaw) and sprinkle them with Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, basil, and oregano. Sauté the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes until they’re pink and cooked through. You’ll want to give them a nice little sear, so don’t crowd the pan—do it in batches if necessary. Once done, remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same pan, add the whipping cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir often, and let it reduce slightly for about 3 minutes. Once it thickens up a bit, add in your shredded mozzarella cheese and stir until it melts into a creamy, cheesy sauce. If the sauce gets too thick, just add a little of the pasta water you saved earlier to loosen it up to your liking.

  4. Combine: Once your sauce is all creamy and cheesy, toss your cooked fettuccine noodles into the pan and give them a good stir, coating them in that luscious Alfredo sauce. Add the shrimp back in and toss to combine. Let everything heat through for another minute or so.

  5. Serve & Enjoy: Plate your shrimp Alfredo, garnish with a little extra mozzarella (because, why not?), and maybe a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you’re feeling fancy. Serve hot, and prepare for everyone to ask for seconds!

Whether you’re whipping this up for a weeknight dinner or a cozy date night in, this shrimp Alfredo will never disappoint. So go ahead, get cooking, and enjoy every creamy bite!
