•Posted on October 04 2024
These honey garlic chicken thighs are tender, crispy, and coated in a sticky, savory-sweet glaze—perfect for a cozy night in, served alongside roasted vegetables or a warm grain salad.
Ingredients:
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
Heat the olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin side down, until the skin is crispy and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for another 2 minutes.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs, making sure they're evenly coated.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, basting the chicken with the sauce halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is sticky.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with roasted vegetables or a warm grain salad.
These hearty meat dishes are perfect for cozy fall dinners!
